I’m Ogunsola Korede, Currently working with a financial institution in the department of Marketing. 

Can you describe your journey from attending Utiva Data School to your role as an AI tutor up till now that you are working at a financial institution, highlighting the key experiences or skills you gained during this transition?

After I was able to transition into Data Analytics and I got certified, I decided to venture into analyzing data. Also, I have been able to broaden my understanding and focus on adding the data analyzed to my portfolio. 

Afterward, I dedicated time to surfing the internet for remote jobs online, where I was able to secure a spot in a company as an AI tutor coupled with the fact that I had to combine both streams.

 Also, in my current role, I multitask to get the jobs assigned to me done. Most importantly, understanding how to prioritize tasks, Paying Attention to details and problem-solving skills were the major skills gained during the transition. 

How did your education in the Data Analytics Program at Utiva Data School prepare you for a career in artificial intelligence (AI) and data-related roles, and what aspects of the program do you believe have been most valuable in your professional journey?

My transition into Data Analytics was intentional because I knew it would foster my interest in pursuing Artificial Intelligence (AI) which was different from what I learnt during my Data Analytics program at Utiva Data School. The most valuable aspect of the program during my learning experience was SQL. 

What motivated you to pursue a career as an AI tutor, and how do you integrate your knowledge of data analytics and AI into your teaching and mentoring responsibilities at the financial institution?

Integrating data analytics and AI was very crucial in my daily work routine and Analyzing data was one of my favorite aspects of data analysis. Bagging the certificate in utiva is enough motivation to explore many other opportunities. 

Can you discuss a specific project or initiative you worked on as an AI tutor that you found particularly rewarding or challenging, and how you leverage your background in data analytics to address any obstacles or achieve success?

One of the projects I have worked on is “The Relevance of a Product to the Query”. This project has been challenging and difficult but with the skills acquired in data analytics, I could tackle all obstacles and successfully conclude all projects. 

In your role as an AI tutor, how do you stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in artificial intelligence?

Most times, I usually get my updates from an Artificial Intelligence application popularly known as the Chat GPT-4.

How do you adapt your teaching approach to accommodate learners with varying levels of proficiency or familiarity with AI concepts and technologies?

Understanding the principles, Methods, and techniques of all learners is a vital aspect of the learning process, and the strategies employed to achieve desired results are logical reasoning and interpersonal skills. 

What do you believe are the most important skills or qualities for individuals pursuing careers in AI or data analytics?

There are numerous skills but the important ones are: Interpersonal Skills, Communication Skills, Problem-Solving Skills, and Paying Attention to detail are very vital in the pursuit of a career in Tech. 

How do you plan to continue making an impact in this space while leveraging your background in data analytics and AI?

I would love to attend seminars and conferences or maybe online forums to discuss and share ideas and experiences of how to transform our visions into digital realities.

Don’t give up on your dreams. 

You can achieve whatever your mind can conceive and believe.
